8-9. Bi-directional Printing Band Adjustments

    1. Adjust the position of the vertical lines printed on the return pass.
      To shift the lines to the left: Increase the setting value.
      To shift the lines to the right: Decrease the setting value.
    2. Adjust the Bidirection Compensation of Important Setup menu to align the printed bands.
    3. Print the adjustment pattern once again and check the results of the adjustments made.
    4. Repeat the printing and adjustment procedures until the vertical lines printed on the outward and return passes form continuous straight lines.
    5. Perform adjustments in the same way for the magenta, yellow and black print heads.
