Graphtec America Releases Rhinestone Fonts
For Popular i-DesignR® Software

Graphtec America has released two rhinestone font volumes for the popular i-DesignR® Series software and Graphtec cutters. Each font volume has fifteen fonts with easy to use size charts for the most popular rhinestone sizes. The font sizing charts have been customized for each font style and desired rhinestone size for caps, shirts, jeans and other decorated apparel.

Rather than just being static clipart letters, the fonts are typeable and editable including kerning and line spacing and are compatible with other i-DesignR® text features. Whether you need stylized fonts such as "Bubbles", filled fonts such as "Varsity Filled" or great looking fonts for tight spaces, such as "Tiny Tiny", the font libraries have something for everyone. And for the utmost flexibility, characters can be broken apart so each individual stone can be fine tuned.

Graphtec America Distributes
Silhouette CAMEO® Desktop Cutting Tool

Graphtec America has begun distributing the Silhouette CAMEO® desktop cutting tool with optical registration mark sensor manufactured by Silhouette America, Inc. The Silhouette CAMEO® is now available through Graphtec America's authorized sales channel.

The CAMEO is an electronic cutting tool for smaller sized applications but the applications themselves are almost limitless. The Silhouette CAMEO® desktop cutting tool has features typically only found on cutting plotters thousands of dollars more expensive. The impressive list of features includes an optical sensor, SD card, graphical liquid display, and intuitive blade assembly that have been integrated into a compact desktop cutter. The Silhouette CAMEO® desktop cutting tool cuts a wide variety materials including: cardstock, fabric, paper, vellum, transparencies, and a complete line of Silhouette tested and guaranteed materials including printable magnet paper, adhesive vinyl for signs and wall decoration, apparel rhinestone stencil, and apparel heat transfer material.

Graphtec Japan Status

Dear Valued Graphtec Customers and Partners,
In response to the recent massive earthquake in northeast Japan and resulting tsunami, Graphtec Corporation has confirmed the safety of its employees and their families in Japan. Due to the distance of Graphtec headquarters and factories from the earthquake, they were not damaged and production is expected to be unaffected.

Graphtec America has added the FC4500 series flatbeds, to its extensive family of roll feed and flatbed cutters. The FC4500 flatbed cutting plotters are available in 2 table sizes. The FC4500-50 has a cutting area of 23.2"x16.9" and the FC4510-60 has a cutting area of 33.8” x 23.6".

Graphtec America Inc. has announced a strategic distribution partnership with Wynit Inc. for expanded channel fulfillment beginning December 2010. By partnering with Wynit, Graphtec America will be able to reach market segments that previously were not part Graphtec’s traditional distribution channel. Graphtec has made this strategic decision to take advantage of Wynit’s expertise in product distribution, coast-to-coast warehousing, and extensive channel support.

The Graphtec GEM System includes a full line of Graphtec branded supplies tailored for rhinestone apparel decoration and were developed to complement one another for flawless results at a cost effective price.

Graphtec America Doubles Warranty Coverage
Announces New Extended Service Programs

Effective immediately, Graphtec America has doubled the warranty coverage for current FC2250 Series and FC4200 Series flatbed cutters from one year to two years, upon product registration. Also effective immediately, Graphtec announces an On-Site Service Program and an Annual Service Choice Program for current FC8000, CE5000, FC2250 and FC4200 series cutters.

The On-Site Service Program puts a trained technician at the customer’s door to resolve the issue in person rather than shipping the product to an authorized repair center. This program is the most cost effective and quickest way to resolve the issue and get the customer back into production.
