FIRMWARE UPDATE
Firmware can be updated on both Windows & Mac. For Windows, firmware update is most easily done via Windows PC via USB port, needed items are:
1. Windows driver for respective cutter (view windows driver installation video below)
2. Firmware files of respective cutter. Click >> To check latest firmware & Windows driver of your Graphtec model
HOW TO INSTALL THE WINDOWS DRIVER
Windows driver installation is only necessary to update firmware, use the plotter control, or to run a plotter from a software program that requires it. There is no need install the driver when using Cutting Master, Graphtec Pro Studio, as well as recent 3rd party software such as onyx, flexisign, caldera, etc.

In the rare chance that you need to update the firmware of the Graphtec cutting plotter, it is traditionally done through a computer with windows OS. This video is a work around for Mac OS users who do not have access to the recommended Windows computer.
